Airport Services Supervisor

About the role

The Airport Services Supervisor ensures that all ground handling activities at Singapore airport are delivered safely, efficiently and to Emirates’ high service standards. You will coordinate internal teams and external partners, anticipate operational disruptions and maintain seamless passenger experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate handling agents, service providers, other airlines and authorities to ensure full coverage of operations.
• Analyse potential operational issues such as over‑bookings, weather delays or crew limitations and implement proactive remedial actions.
• Brief handling agents, caterers and other providers on Emirates’ requirements and update information for special handling.
• Oversee post‑flight activities, baggage claims processing, and control expenditure on damaged or lost baggage.
• Respond to passenger queries, complaints and claims promptly to restore confidence.
• Support ticket desk operations, conduct credit‑card verification and travel‑document checks.
• Coach and develop airport services agents, assist in performance reviews and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.

Required profile

• Minimum O‑Level or equivalent with recognised training in Customer Service and Ground Operations.
• At least 4 years of airline industry experience, preferably in ground handling.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and the local language.
• Legal right to live and work in Singapore.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of reservations, fares and ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with departure control systems.
• Experience with baggage tracing and claims handling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and standard email applications.
