Android Developer - Risk Control

About the role

Join Binance’s Experience & Connectivity Team as an Android Developer focused on risk control and identity verification. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance Android applications that incorporate on‑device AI for face recognition and liveness detection, helping secure a global cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Build and optimise Android applications for risk control and identity verification products.
• Integrate lightweight on‑device AI models for face recognition and liveness detection.
• Develop client‑side libraries and frameworks to improve code quality and development speed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create hybrid frameworks and inference pipelines.
• Implement user‑action flows: camera capture, on‑device preprocessing, and backend API calls.
• Handle real‑time video processing, camera stream management, and frame‑level operations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building Android applications from scratch.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience deploying on‑device AI/ML models (e.g., face recognition, liveness detection).
• Experience with video processing, camera capture, and real‑time frame handling on Android.
• Familiarity with computer‑vision product development, including anti‑spoofing workflows.
• Knowledge of cross‑platform technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript and React; C++/JNI a plus.
