Android Software Engineer

About the role

We are building a proactive AI chat app that brings intelligence to everyday conversations, errands, and workflows. As an Android Software Engineer you will own the mobile experience, ensuring AI interactions feel natural, reliable, and performant on Android devices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a production‑grade Android application using Kotlin.
• Integrate AI‑powered features such as chat, vision, voice and recommendation services through backend APIs.
• Design UX patterns for streaming responses, retries and partial results in AI‑driven flows.
• Optimize memory usage, latency and CPU consumption for heavy AI workloads.
• Implement analytics, logging and user feedback mechanisms to support continuous AI evaluation.
• Collaborate with backend and machine‑learning engineers on API contracts and system behavior.
• Ensure app stability, security and scalability in production environments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Hands‑on experience integrating large language models, vision or speech APIs.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flow).
• Familiarity with REST or gRPC APIs and structured data formats.
• Proven debugging and performance‑profiling skills.
• Comfort working with latency, partial failures and non‑deterministic model behavior.
• Experience with MLKit or on‑device TensorFlow Lite inference.
• Published applications on Google Play Store.
