APAC Fund Finance Intern

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting an APAC Fund Finance Intern for its Fund Finance team in the Asian Investment Banking Division, Asia Pacific. The Fund Finance team is a product division offering client solutions across the Institutional Investor, Sponsors and Sovereigns segments. The internship runs from 11 January 2027 to 30 June 2027 and is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Track the progress of strategic initiatives, take part in them and set up a reporting cadence to senior management
• Collate and report portfolio management requirements with other team members
• Coordinate workstreams for implementing the new Oxane information database
• Learn banking products related to Fund Finance (Markets, Transaction Banking, Capital Markets) from experienced stakeholders
• Assist with parts of credit papers
• Write and speak, including preparing presentation materials and client pitch packs
• Support senior management with project planning and structuring, and prepare stakeholder meetings

Required profile

• Open to Singaporean and PR students only; partners include NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and SUSS
• Keen eye for detail and ability to work under tight deadlines while managing several projects at once
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude
• Strong written and spoken English
• Able to work independently and in teams, collaborating across regions and teams

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel)
