APAC PMO Manager

About the role

The APAC PMO Manager reports to the APAC Leadership Team and leads the regional PMO function. This role ensures strategic initiatives are prioritized, governed and executed in line with regional and global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the APAC PMO function, establishing best‑in‑class project and portfolio management standards and governance.
• Provide oversight of the regional strategic project portfolio, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and global strategy.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, reporting structures, risk management processes and escalation pathways.
• Drive project prioritisation, resource allocation and investment decisions across the strategic portfolio.
• Lead planning, execution and delivery of key regional transformation initiatives, ensuring they meet time, scope and budget targets.
• Serve as trusted advisor to the APAC Region President and senior leadership, facilitating executive governance forums and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with ability to translate strategy into executable plans.
• Proven ability to lead and influence without direct authority in complex matrix organisations.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• 8+ years of experience in project/program management, PMO leadership or transformation.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field; MBA highly regarded.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred).
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
