APAC Regional IT Support Lead – Singapore

About the role

OpenAI is seeking a senior IT professional to own the Singapore office’s technology operations while leading IT support across the APAC region. The role blends hands‑on troubleshooting with regional coordination, operational leadership, and process improvement to deliver a seamless employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior onsite point of contact in Singapore for hardware, software, network, and collaboration issues.
• Partner with APAC offices to harmonise support coverage, improve coordination, and ensure a consistent employee experience.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding workflows, including device preparation, account setup, and day‑one support.
• Support conference rooms, executive meetings, and high‑visibility events, ensuring AV and workplace technology reliability.
• Coordinate procurement, repairs, maintenance, inventory tracking, and device management with vendors.
• Collaborate with Workplace Services, Security, and other stakeholders on office build‑outs and technology readiness.
• Identify friction points, improve documentation, build repeatable workflows, and introduce lightweight automation.
• Provide high‑touch, executive‑level support as needed.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused and technically strong with the ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent judgment and clear communication skills.
• Capable of turning ambiguous operational needs into reliable, scalable systems.
• Willing to work onsite five days a week and relocate if necessary.
