Architect / Senior Architect – Building Products & CentEx Projects

About the role

The role involves leading architectural design and design management for JTC’s building products and CentEx projects, ensuring user‑centric, attractive, integrated and sustainable workplaces. You will translate customer needs and industry trends into functional designs while maintaining high quality and sustainability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out architectural design and design management for building products and CentEx projects, meeting user requirements and quality standards.
• Perform in‑house design simulations, conceptual designs and daylighting/CFD studies to optimise land use, building performance, maintenance and cost.
• Provide technical inputs and guide external consultants to ensure detailed designs align with JTC’s operational and design intent.
• Manage architectural design consultants, ensuring ministries/agencies requirements are integrated throughout design and construction stages.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless multidisciplinary design process.

Required profile

• Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural design experience.
• Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore (beneficial).
• Relevant certifications such as Green Mark, LEED AP, BIM Manager, Universal Design, etc. (beneficial).
• Creative flair, strong presentation and writing skills, and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Autodesk Revit (BIM), Autodesk CFD, Autodesk Autoturn, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino.
• Parametric design tools: Grasshopper, Revit Dynamo.
• Simulation expertise: ESD‑CFD, daylighting studies.
• Graphic software: Adobe Creative Suite.
• Data visualisation and analytics: Microsoft Excel, Qlik Sense, Tableau.
• Programming languages: C++, C#, Python, Java.
