Architectural Assistant (Junior to Senior)

About the role

The Architectural Assistant supports the Project Director, Associate or Architect in delivering design and technical solutions across all project phases. The position welcomes fresh graduates and experienced candidates, with the possibility to progress to a Senior Architectural Assistant role.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tasks assigned by senior project staff to meet project objectives while ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Support design, technical, and building‑code matters throughout feasibility, conceptual, and detailed design phases.
• Analyse site data, prepare documentation, and assist in the preparation of tenders and contract administration.
• Liaise with consultants on design coordination, technical issues, and regulatory compliance.
• Gather information for work approvals and assist in procurement activities.
• Attend site and consultant meetings to discuss design and coordination matters.
• Produce 2D and 3D models using Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp or manual drafting.
• Utilise digital tools, BIM platforms and computational data to support pre‑design and design development.

Required profile

• Degree in Architectural Studies, BArch, BA (AS) or related field.
• Strong understanding of planning, building codes and regulations.
• Organised, meticulous, analytical and able to manage tight deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, works autonomously and demonstrates good time‑management.
• Collaborative mindset with openness to teamwork.
