Architectural Coordinator

About the role

The Architectural Coordinator will oversee all architectural activities on construction sites, acting as the primary link between clients, consultants, contractors and internal design teams. This role ensures that design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle while supporting safe and efficient site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site architectural work and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Attend and document meetings with client representatives, consultants and the main contractor.
• Provide timely feedback to drafting and design teams on updates and developments discussed in meetings.
• Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings for accuracy.
• Manage architectural work scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.
• Maintain a safe working environment and coordinate with architects, structural and M&E staff, and sub‑contractors to resolve issues.
• Prepare, interpret and circulate construction, shop and as‑built drawings, ensuring proper drawing control.
• Consolidate and coordinate approval documents, maintaining searchable records.
• Identify design and construction elements that could lead to disputes or claims.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating architectural work on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and building codes.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
