Architectural Coordinator / Senior Architectural Coordinator

About the role

The Architectural Coordinator / Senior Architectural Coordinator will lead the coordination of architectural consultants, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple projects island‑wide. You will ensure that all architectural works are planned, executed and documented in line with project schedules, ISO standards and local building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and strategise architectural works in accordance with project plans.
• Review, check and submit method statements, SWPs, drawings, brochures and samples for approval.
• Monitor the quality, compliance and workability of specialist and subcontractor design/shop drawings and site works.
• Ensure on‑site implementation follows approved drawings, ISO standards, safety requirements and regulatory codes.
• Coordinate architectural activities with civil & structural, M&E teams and relevant authorities.
• Support QS and site teams, resolve BIM clashes and provide assistance during ICE sessions.
• Handle ad‑hoc matters assigned by the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• Safety certification (e.g., BCSS).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and a collaborative team mindset.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes and construction regulations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with CAD/BIM software and related architectural design tools.
• Experience with TOP/CSC processes.
