Architectural Executive – Design & Project Management

About the role

The Architectural Executive will support the Project Director, Associate, and senior architects in delivering high‑quality design solutions and managing project execution. This role blends design development, regulatory compliance, and construction coordination within a dynamic Singapore‑based practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in overall design strategy, coordination, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Review designs for compliance with Singapore Building Control Act and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain project timelines, monitor team output, and assess progress against objectives.
• Conduct pre‑design studies, feasibility analyses, and site zoning assessments.
• Develop concept and detailed designs that meet client briefs, budgets, and authority approvals.
• Prepare project schedules, tender documentation, material specifications, and finish schedules.
• Manage construction‑stage activities, resolve site and design issues, and oversee project handovers.
• Administer building contracts, check shop drawings, and coordinate with consultants and technical officers.
• Support business development initiatives and promote sustainability best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture (BArch or MArch) or recognized Graduate Diploma.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; qualified QPs may be hired as Architects.
• Strong understanding of planning, building codes, and regulations in Singapore.
• Organised, meticulous, analytical, and capable of autonomous work under tight deadlines.
