Assistance Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Assistance Engineer to join our semiconductor equipment team in Singapore. The role is designed for fresh graduates with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering and offers hands‑on training on a scanning electron microscope (SEM) platform.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of SEM machines.
• Support the repair and replacement of mechanical and electrical components.
• Follow clean‑room protocols and ensure compliance with semiconductor manufacturing standards.
• Document issues, actions taken and outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to diagnose and resolve equipment failures.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate from ITE or Polytechnic with a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Eager to learn and able to analyse technical problems.
• Willingness to work in a clean‑room environment and follow safety procedures.

Required skills

• Basic mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Basic electrical engineering knowledge.
• Troubleshooting skills for electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with scanning electron microscope equipment (training will be provided).
