About the role

The Assistant Accountant will support the finance team in processing payments, managing invoices, and preparing financial reports for our restaurant outlets. This role involves maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts.

Key responsibilities

Process bulk payments using the UBS Accounting System.
Prepare weekly telegraphic transfer (TT) payments.
Post and verify invoices for all outlets.
Prepare and issue Statements of Account (SOA).
Handle rental income and related records.
Monitor and reconcile third‑party payments.
Maintain and update the accounting system.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports for two restaurants.
Carry out ad‑hoc duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

1–2 years of experience in clerical accounting or a minimum diploma.
Strong organization, attention to detail, productivity, and dependability.
Ability to perform filing and record‑keeping tasks.

Required skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with the UBS Accounting System.
