Assistant Architectural Design Coordinator

About the role

The Assistant Architectural Design Coordinator will support the delivery of design‑and‑build condominium projects by ensuring architectural drawings are accurate, coordinated and compliant with authority requirements. You will act as a bridge between consultants, subcontractors and the construction team, providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and review architectural design and shop drawings for consistency, accuracy and compliance with contract and authority standards.
• Schedule and issue drawings in line with project timelines and construction activities.
• Liaise with architectural consultants, structural, M&E engineers and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in preparing and submitting documents for statutory approvals such as Corenet X Gateways, Building Plan, Works Permit, TOP and CSC.
• Provide technical support to the construction team, resolve design discrepancies and address site‑related architectural issues.
• Maintain documentation of design changes, site instructions (CVIs/RFIs/SDAs) and correspondence.
• Coordinate material and finish submissions, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Utilise BIM tools (Revit, Naviswork, Enscape) to identify clashes, coordinate drawings and produce as‑built models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Design or Architectural Coordinator on design‑and‑build condominium projects for A1 main contractors.
• Strong knowledge of local authority requirements (URA, BCA, NEA, PUB, SCDF, LTA, Nparks).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, building effective relationships with consultants and team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (ACAD).
• Experience with Revit.
• Familiarity with Naviswork.
• Knowledge of Enscape for VR walkthroughs.
