Assistant Architectural Manager

About the role

The Assistant Architectural Manager will support the delivery of architectural works on construction sites, ensuring that designs are executed accurately and on schedule. This role involves close collaboration with architects, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to resolve on‑site issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural works and site activities for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to resolve architectural issues on site.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications and construction details to ensure proper site execution.
• Monitor progress of architectural works against the project programme and identify potential delays.
• Supervise and coordinate architectural subcontractors to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate rectification of architectural defects and non‑conformities.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E, façade and other trades to minimise clashes and interface issues.
• Attend site and coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors and relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in architectural site management, preferably with a major main contractor.
