About the role
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Chef to join our restaurant kitchen team in Singapore. The successful candidate will support daily food preparation, maintain high culinary standards, and ensure a clean and safe working environment. This role offers the chance to develop practical kitchen skills while working closely with experienced chefs.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, season, and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain cooking stations efficiently during peak service periods.
- Assist with inventory monitoring, receive deliveries, and help minimize waste.
- Enforce Singapore Food Agency (SFA) food safety and sanitation guidelines across all prep areas.
- Collaborate with head chefs and junior staff to streamline workflow and station cleanup.
- Handle and maintain kitchen tools and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
