Assistant Director, HR Policy (Faculty)

About the role

NTU is seeking an Assistant Director to lead the development and implementation of faculty HR policies. This senior position will shape the university’s HR framework, ensuring alignment with international best practices and supporting NTU’s strategic academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Review, enhance and implement faculty HR policies across the entire faculty lifecycle.
• Conduct benchmarking, policy analysis and stakeholder consultations to formulate policy recommendations for senior leadership.
• Translate approved policies into operational processes, workflows and implementation guidance.
• Advise HR stakeholders and academic units on policy interpretation and support governance improvements.
• Facilitate communication, change‑management and knowledge‑sharing initiatives related to faculty HR policies.
• Maintain and update the Faculty Handbook, policy repositories and reference resources for clarity and consistency.
• Support faculty HR initiatives, system enhancements and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, preferably in Human Resources, Business, Public Policy or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant HR or faculty affairs experience, including policy development and governance.
• Strong analytical, writing and stakeholder‑engagement abilities with a collaborative working style.
