Assistant Director, International Business Partnership

About the role

As Assistant Director, International Business Partnership you will join the IPOS International team to drive strategic engagements that expand Singapore’s position as a global IP hub. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will work closely with businesses, government agencies, law firms and trade associations to identify opportunities, build partnerships and promote the suite of services offered by the IPOS Group.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for targeted international markets.
• Identify, engage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the private and public sectors.
• Establish and grow strategic partnerships that generate long‑term value for the IPOS Group.
• Conduct market intelligence and analysis to shape positioning and business‑development priorities.
• Design and implement marketing campaigns tailored to diverse regional audiences.
• Represent the IPOS Group at industry events, conferences and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align business‑development initiatives with organisational goals.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on pipeline progress and impact metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, International Relations or a related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in business development, partnerships or client engagement, preferably within legal, IP or professional services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, results‑driven approach.
• Resilient, proactive and detail‑oriented.
• Willingness to travel as required.
