Assistant Factory Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Factory Manager to support day‑to‑day management and delivery of our factory operations. Working closely with the Factory Director and production teams, you will drive productivity, resolve challenges and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor weekly production progress, track timelines and prepare management reports.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, material shortages and technical issues.
• Maintain version‑controlled drawing records and distribute latest revisions to production teams.
• Handle procurement of raw materials, hardware and fittings, and monitor long‑lead items.
• Supervise Carpenter Leads and production personnel, allocate tasks and ensure workplace discipline.
• Prepare safety documentation, risk assessments and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in factory or production operations, preferably in carpentry, joinery or interior fit‑out.
• Diploma or degree in Carpentry, Interior Design, Construction, Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of materials, hardware, fittings and fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and safety documentation.
• Ability to lead production teams, allocate manpower and meet tight deadlines.
