Assistant IT Manager

About the role

The Assistant IT Manager will support the IT function of PAUL Singapore, ensuring smooth operation of technology services across all bakery locations. This role combines project coordination, system maintenance, and vendor management in a fast‑paced food‑service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IT projects related to events and promotions, ensuring timely delivery.
• Oversee POS updates, price changes, and other technology services.
• Facilitate new system roll‑outs and enhancements to existing platforms.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and monitor service agreements.
• Install and configure hardware, software, networks, printers and scanners.
• Collaborate with IT headquarters to implement and maintain systems.
• Respond to technical incidents, diagnose faults and resolve issues.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies using Axapta.

Required profile

• Diploma in Information Technology.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience in the Food & Beverage sector is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated team player able to work independently under tight timelines.

Required skills

• Axapta (ERP) inventory management.
• POS system configuration and support.
• Hardware installation and network troubleshooting.
