Assistant Key Account Manager

About the role

Join Nestlé Singapore as an Assistant Key Account Manager and support the Channel Manager in driving sustainable sales growth and profitability across assigned accounts. You will develop customer strategies, optimise trade investments and ensure strong in‑store execution within a leading FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support achievement of sales targets (NNS, volume, profitability) by analysing performance, identifying gaps and recommending actionable plans.
• Assist in creating and executing joint business plans (JBP) aligned with company objectives.
• Plan, execute and track promotional activities, evaluate post‑promotion results and ensure trade spend aligns with strategic priorities.
• Maintain high standards of in‑store execution, including planogram compliance, product availability and visibility.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide timely feedback to improve execution strategies.
• Develop deep understanding of category dynamics, shopper behaviour and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance and operations to deliver seamless commercial execution.

Required profile

• Degree holder with at least 3 years FMCG experience in key accounts, sales or trade marketing, or non‑degree holder with 8 + years relevant experience.
• Proven account management experience in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
