Assistant Manager – Epic Principal Trainer (Business Change & Adoption)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Epic Principal Trainer will design, develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for trainers, super‑users and end‑users to ensure successful Epic implementation across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain role‑based Epic training curriculum, lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Deliver training through classroom, virtual and asynchronous formats such as job aids and e‑learning.
• Build and maintain the Epic training environment that mirrors production workflows.
• Participate in workflow design and system build to gain deep functional knowledge.
• Credential and support trainers via “train‑the‑trainer” programmes.
• Support change‑management and user‑readiness activities.
• Provide go‑live and post‑go‑live assistance, including at‑the‑elbow support and refresher sessions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content.
• Stay current with Epic updates and adult‑learning best practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, IT or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare operations or IT.
• Strong communication, presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Will obtain and pass Epic certification(s) upon joining.
