Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting (China GAAP)

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting will support the parent company by preparing and converting financial statements, ensuring compliance with both Singapore and China GAAP, and delivering timely disclosures. This role bridges the finance teams across regions and works closely with auditors and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reporting, disclosures, and daily operating reports for the parent company.
• Convert monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements from Singapore GAAP to China GAAP.
• Monitor and apply new accounting standards under SFRS and China GAAP.
• Submit periodic reports, including quarterly announcements and annual statutory filings.
• Ensure disclosures comply with SGX rules and HAC policies.
• Prepare, review and analyse consolidated financial results.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, address audit issues and minimise adjustments.
• Liaise with the parent company’s accounting department to ensure asset and equity transactions follow policy.
• Translate documents between English and Mandarin as required.
• Produce ad‑hoc management reports and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation or audit.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
