Assistant Manager, Financial Services Assurance (Insurance)

About the role

PwC's Financial Services Assurance practice helps organisations strengthen trust and transparency in financial reporting, and is described as Asia's top financial services practice. It is looking for candidates with strong financial services audit experience to join its team and take part in statutory audit assignments for its Asset Management clients, including insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in a broad range of statutory audit assignments for insurance clients.
• May take part in selected advisory assignments such as advice on accounting for complex arrangements and instruments, internal control and risk management reviews, financial due diligence and transaction support.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualifications and practical knowledge of FRS.
• Minimum 4 years of external audit experience, ideally in the insurance industry.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent project management and team working skills.
