Assistant Manager, Human Resources

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Human Resources will support the Changi East development by managing end‑to‑end recruitment and employee lifecycle processes. Acting as the main liaison between Changi Airport Group and candidates, you will ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the client to understand hiring needs and provide timely recruitment support.
• Source, attract and screen qualified candidates to meet contract staffing requirements.
• Evaluate candidates and coordinate selection processes to secure the best fit.
• Manage employment documentation and onboarding for new hires.
• Support employee lifecycle administration, including onboarding, confirmation, contract renewals and off‑boarding.
• Serve as point of contact for employees, addressing concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with labour regulations and maintain accurate recruitment and employee records.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, staffing or talent acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and recruitment best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and meet hiring deadlines.
• Willingness to work on a 2‑year contract with possible renewal.
