Assistant Manager, Regional Finance Compliance

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced finance compliance professional to strengthen its governance, risk management and internal control framework across the Asia‑Pacific region. Reporting to the Director of Regional Finance, you will partner with regional and local stakeholders to ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the regional compliance framework.
• Review internal controls, risk assessments, authorisation matrices and segregation of duties.
• Identify control gaps and drive remediation actions.
• Lead country compliance reviews and coordinate internal audits.
• Track audit findings and prepare compliance dashboards and management updates.
• Act as regional process owner for contract management, overseeing system workflows and approval processes.
• Troubleshoot end‑to‑end process and system issues, including design, execution and automation.
• Support the Director of Regional Finance on segregation of duties, risk matrices and internal controls.
• Partner with regional teams to harmonise and streamline processes.
• Conduct compliance communications and awareness sessions.
• Support finance transformation projects and organisational changes.
• Travel 2‑3 times a year for 1‑1.5 weeks per trip.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Law, Compliance, Risk Management or equivalent; professional certifications (CPA, CA, CIA, CFE) a plus.
• 6‑8 years of experience in compliance, internal controls, risk management, internal audit or finance governance, preferably with APAC regional exposure.
• Strong knowledge of segregation of duties, risk and control matrices, authorisation frameworks and audit remediation.
• Experience supporting multiple Southeast Asian markets.
• Analytical, hands‑on and solutions‑oriented mindset.
