Assistant Manager - Residency Operations

About the role

NHG is one of the three sponsoring institutions in Singapore offering residency training programmes for doctors pursuing postgraduate medical education. The Assistant Manager (Senior Executive in Residency Operations) acts as a programme coordinator, supporting the assigned Programme Director in managing the residency training programme.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in programme accreditation and management
• Administer and maintain a conducive educational environment
• Plan and organise the resident recruitment and selection exercise
• Assist with faculty appointment and development
• Take part in intra- and inter-departmental projects that support the institution's vision, mission and strategic objectives, matched to the candidate's aspirations and competence

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of work experience
• Prior experience in education administration or healthcare is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal skills, resourceful and able to work independently
• Good organisational skills and team player with a pleasant personality

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Skills in IT systems, data management or data analytics
• Excellent spoken and written English
