Assistant Manager, Supply Planning

About the role

Sephora SEA is expanding rapidly across eight countries and seeks an Assistant Manager, Supply Planning to drive its Open‑to‑Buy process, ensure inventory targets are met, and support the full purchase order lifecycle from creation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage the Open‑to‑Buy process aligned with inventory targets.
• Collaborate with demand planners to align purchases with forecasts and adjust buying plans as needed.
• Monitor stock holdings, initiate RTV discussions, and track replenishment and newness purchase orders.
• Assess supplier performance, participate in S&OP meetings, and work with vendors to improve KPIs.
• Maintain supply planning parameters (GR, order cycle, pack size, DG/Non‑DG) and ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct lead‑time checks, track overdue deliveries, and manage risks related to excess stock, shelf life, and damages.
• Escalate and resolve critical PO issues with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail supply chain management and inventory optimization.
• Proficiency in demand forecasting and sales data analysis.
• Strong supplier negotiation skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Project‑management experience focused on supply‑chain initiatives.
• Knowledge of supply‑chain KPIs and performance‑improvement strategies.
