Assistant Production Manager

About the role

Greif is seeking a hands‑on Assistant Production Manager to support daily manufacturing operations. The role focuses on maintaining efficient production flow, driving team performance, and upholding safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day production activities and monitor team productivity.
• Lead shift meetings, track progress, and address delays or issues promptly.
• Implement production plans, performance targets, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and ongoing development.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Plan and adjust work schedules to support efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate complex problems when needed.
• Support broader business objectives and contribute to overall operational performance.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a manufacturing environment supervising production quality and continuity.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team‑leadership role.
• Six‑Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
