Assistant Project Manager (Construction)

About the role

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role is based in Singapore and involves close coordination with consultants, owners, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed programme schedules and monitor progress against the master programme.
• Implement ISO quality, EHS, green and gracious procedures throughout the project.
• Ensure compliance with client, consultant, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate technical issues, shop drawing submissions, and sample approvals with consultants and owners.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to meet schedule, technical, and contractual obligations.
• Control project costs to stay below the approved budget.
• Lead and motivate the project team, fostering productivity and teamwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in technical coordination and basement construction is preferred.
