Assistant Regional Business Development Manager

About the role

The Assistant Regional Business Development Manager will support Heineken Asia Pacific Beverages in expanding its presence across the APAC market. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will act as the primary contact for partners, driving strategic agreements that increase distribution and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate and formalise strategic partnerships with distributors and overseas customers.
• Coordinate sourcing of breweries and design efficient route‑to‑consumer models.
• Align with market managers on launch plans, sales forecasts, market share and profitability targets.
• Develop pricing strategies and ensure compliance with pricing guidelines.
• Maintain profitable relationships with distributors, monitor performance and provide coaching.
• Participate in trade shows and promotional activities to boost product penetration.
• Support trade‑marketing initiatives with data‑driven insights and BTL activities.
• Monitor commercial performance against plan, brand mix and competitive information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or commercial sales within the beverage or consumer‑goods sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage multi‑party agreements.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple markets and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset to assess market data, pricing and profitability.
• Fluent English communication skills for interaction with regional partners.
