Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is looking for a seasoned Credit Analyst to join its Singapore office. The role prepares robust credit applications for corporates across a range of industries and supports monitoring of the department's credit portfolio, including borrower ratings, credit due dates and collateral control. Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within the company
• Work with Relationship Managers and the Credit Division to resolve complex credit application issues
• Prepare thorough credit applications for approval, including analysis of cash flow projections
• Review borrower ratings in line with company guidelines and monitor due date controls to support credit facility renewal and covenant checks
• Assess the health of the department's credit portfolio, including borrower ratings and collateral control
• Collaborate with colleagues across the region to deliver an integrated service for customers

Required profile

• Degree qualified
• At least 3 years of experience as a Corporate Credit Analyst in the banking industry
• Experience preparing credit applications, including cash flow projections
• Good knowledge of the industries and economic environment in the region
• Detailed understanding of bank products and their risks

• Good communication and presentation skills, able to influence others with complex data or analysis
