Associate Director - Account Leadership

About the role

TEAM LEWIS, a global marketing agency, is looking for an Associate Director in Singapore. This is a senior position providing leadership to the account servicing team and working as part of the senior management team to deliver a profitable, creative and forward-thinking client service. The role covers new business, client management, media relations, content and digital/social media, and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead new business: run the new business process with local and regional leadership, lead credentials and pitches for top-tier clients, and identify and nurture new prospects.
• Grow client revenues and retainer budgets, manage strategic client relationships, define KPIs, deadlines and service agreements, and act as a consultancy partner on campaigns and services.
• Oversee media opportunities, share knowledge of the media landscape, and advise on narrative, storytelling and thought leadership.
• Oversee content creation and quality control, help clients build a content strategy, and promote digital products and social media insights to optimise client PR campaigns.
• Lead the account team: coach, supervise and assess members, set strategic and client objectives, monitor activity against budget, negotiate with clients and suppliers, and recruit and retain talent.
• Ensure account profitability, report account performance and KPIs to the client and to senior management, and run training sessions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in a B2B or corporate communications agency at Account Director/Associate Director level.
• Experience in corporate, technology and/or B2B sectors, with a track record of retaining clients and growing account revenues.
• Commercial mindset with strong strategic client consultancy skills.
• Assertive, influential and able to motivate and develop a team.

Required skills

• Well-versed in social media and the integration of digital marketing into PR.
• Able to advise on PR requirements as well as broader marketing strategy.
