Associate Director - Architecture (Hospitality)

About the role

The Associate Director – Architecture (Hospitality) will lead the design vision and execution for hospitality projects within 10 Design, part of Egis’ Architecture Line. This senior position combines strategic design leadership with project and people management to drive profitability and design excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and champion the company’s design philosophy and ensure high‑quality output across all hospitality projects.
• Provide design direction, attend key design discussions, and present concepts to clients and internal teams.
• Identify emerging design trends and incorporate future‑focused solutions.
• Oversee project profitability, client satisfaction, and resource allocation.
• Implement processes that guarantee design excellence and financial performance.
• Select, motivate, and develop team members, set clear goals aligned with company objectives, and manage performance reviews.
• Create and execute an annual training plan for the design team.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading architecture or design teams, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong ability to set strategic design direction and maintain consistent quality.
• Excellent client‑facing skills with a focus on satisfaction and profitability.
• Demonstrated talent for talent selection, motivation, and performance management.
• Commitment to developing team capabilities through training and mentorship.
