Associate Director, Information Security Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced senior manager to lead AIA’s Information Security Operations in Singapore. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with people‑management responsibilities, overseeing SecOps, cloud security, IAM and security advisory functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end infrastructure security, including vulnerability management, server hardening, security monitoring and Infrastructure as Code.
• Design and review security architecture for on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Maintain cloud security compliance, evaluate new cloud solutions, and handle provisioning, de‑provisioning and hardening activities.
• Supervise the IAM manager and oversee IAM governance for the business unit.
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to protect the AIA SG environment, deploy cyber‑security initiatives and act as the primary point of contact for incident handling.
• Provide security advisory and guidance to application, infrastructure and business teams, balancing security requirements with business needs.
• Lead a team of eight professionals, driving continuous learning and development through internal and external training.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in information security operations and team leadership.
• Strong hands‑on technical background in security monitoring, incident response and cloud security.
• Experience supervising IAM functions and working closely with SOC teams.
• Ability to communicate security recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
