Associate Director, Project Management (Corporate Offices)

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries and majority-owned by CBRE Group, is hiring an Associate Director, Project Management for its corporate offices in Singapore. The role manages projects end-to-end, from planning and design through procurement, execution and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects end-to-end, from planning and design through procurement, execution and handover.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, costs and key deliverables.
• Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Oversee design development, ensuring alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
• Manage tender and procurement activities, including evaluations, negotiations and contract awards.
• Facilitate statutory, regulatory and other required approvals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and governance requirements.
• Lead project meetings and maintain reporting, documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, and implement mitigation measures.
• Monitor contractor and consultant performance to keep projects within scope, budget, quality and timeline.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, completion and handover.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Construction-related degree (e.g. Project Management, Construction Management, Design, Engineering) or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in project management or construction projects (project manager, construction manager, procurement, vendor, consultant roles).
• Client-facing experience, using critical business development and advisory skills on value management, value engineering and life cycle costing.

• Strong communication and leadership skills with people management experience.
• Strong business acumen, able to drive outcomes for clients and coordinate with construction and design teams to meet deadlines.
