Associate Engineer (Infrastructure Implementation)

About the role

Singtel Networks is seeking an Associate Engineer to support the implementation and maintenance of underground and in‑building pipe and fiber infrastructure. You will work closely with contractors, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pipe and fiber projects during the implementation phase.
• Manage material issuance, reservations, returns and scrap for contractors.
• Verify “As‑Built” documentation and process claim invoices against Service Orders.
• Liaise with local authorities, building management, and landlords for permits and site access.
• Oversee contractor work, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and operational procedures.
• Track implementation status, conduct quality checks, and verify claims.
• Maintain existing pipe and fiber infrastructure and coordinate joint testing and troubleshooting.
• Attend site meetings with public bodies, developers, and other stakeholders.
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in underground or in‑building infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure work and project administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel for reporting.
• Ability to manage contractors and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
