Associate Engineer, Reliability Lab

About the role

The Associate Engineer, Reliability Lab supports semiconductor reliability testing and daily laboratory operations at GlobalFoundries Singapore. You will work in a controlled environment, ensuring compliance with quality standards while delivering accurate test data for internal and customer projects.

Key responsibilities

• Execute reliability test plans, prepare samples and set up equipment.
• Monitor test conditions, maintain data integrity and traceability.
• Troubleshoot test and equipment issues under engineer guidance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Maintain lab safety, ESD controls and housekeeping.
• Manage equipment calibration, maintenance and uptime.
• Collect, analyze and verify test data, identifying efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in a reliability or testing laboratory.
• Strong understanding of reliability test concepts and semiconductor processes.
• Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 17025, IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Basic data‑analysis and reporting skills.
