Associate, Fund Finance

About the role

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is recruiting an Associate, Fund Finance for its Asian Investment Banking Division in APAC, based in Singapore. The purpose of the role is to strengthen the Fund Finance product capabilities and expertise within the division. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.

Key responsibilities

• Support team members with the origination and execution of fund finance facilities for new and existing clients, handling all processes efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with credit-related matters, including constructing credit papers, performing financial modelling, negotiating terms and conditions, finalising documentation, arranging due diligence and satisfying conditions precedent.
• Contribute to compliance and reporting for fund finance portfolios by completing documentation and regulatory submissions on time.
• Build internal and external stakeholder relationships to deliver high-quality fund finance products.
• Handle general administration for fund finance and securitisation portfolios, keeping data accurate.
• Pursue education opportunities to develop fund finance skills and follow company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of three years' experience in corporate or structured lending within banking or finance.
• One to two years of fund finance experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated financial acumen and commercial awareness.
• Meticulous approach to compliance.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of core banking lending principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders at all levels.
