About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate I to join its Manufacturing Science & Technology Engineering team in Singapore. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and evaluating new production materials, equipment, and technologies before mass production, supporting the company’s mission to improve eye health worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to support project goals and perform assigned tasks.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate new production materials, equipment, and technologies prior to scale‑up.
• Conduct manufacturing research and development to resolve cost and quality challenges.
• Assess project capacity for process design and development.
• Create and apply standard manufacturing procedures to reduce costs and define quality standards.
• Coordinate equipment and tool arrangements to meet production timelines and budgets.
• Select vendors and communicate product specifications.
• Collaborate with R&D, commercial, and quality functions.
• Follow GxP regulations, SOPs, and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
