Facility Maintenance Technician – Level 3

About the role

Skyworks is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician 3 to support the operation of its high‑performance analog semiconductor facilities. You will work on a 12‑hour rotating shift, ensuring that plant equipment and utilities run reliably to meet production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist engineers in improving and sustaining facility plant and equipment performance indices.
• Perform shift duties, including preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedule.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety practices across production floors and support areas.
• Coordinate and supervise vendor work to meet objectives.
• Conduct daily routine checks, log facility systems, and close audit findings.
• Operate and maintain HVAC, exhaust, CDA, dryer, scrubber, RODI, glycerin, gases, wastewater plant, building electrical systems, fire protection, and life‑gas detectors.

Required profile

• ITC/NTC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Microelectronics, or Chemical Process Technology.
• 1‑2 years experience in facilities within an electrical/electronics or clean‑room environment; wafer manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts and overtime when required.
• Team player with a commitment to safety and quality.
