Associate Mechanical Engineer

About the role
Aurecon is looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join its Buildings business. You will work with a team of specialists to turn client ideas into built solutions across a variety of building projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships, contribute to business development, and support bid preparation.
- Lead project delivery, including contract negotiation, schedule, quality, risk, and scope management following Aurecon methodology.
- Oversee project close‑out, debrief stakeholders, and provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project profitability and financial performance against proposals and budgets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering competency growth within the service group.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional/technical experience.
- Passion for innovative engineering and continuous learning.
