Associate, Strategy & Operations, Transport

About the role

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, and its Growth & Business Operations team oversees and grows the Singapore Mobility business (JustGrab, GrabCar, GrabCar Premium), covering demand, supply, pricing and marketplace strategy, product rollouts and special projects. This Associate role reports to the Manager, Growth & Business Operations, and is onsite at the One North office. It is a 24-month contract.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and analysis of high-impact strategic plans, including research and data analysis on demand, supply and pricing, and identify issues and solutions to optimise revenue, profit growth and service health
• Provide project management support for strategic plans, including project planning and coordination, communication and stakeholder management
• Work in a team to solve business-critical issues using analysis with basic SQL / Python and AI tools, balancing big-picture thinking with operational detail
• Implement initiatives with attention to cross-functional requirements, collaborating with Product, Regional Mobility Strategy, Partner Operations, Marketing / Comms and Public Affairs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management or a related field
• 1+ year of experience in consulting, tech, strategy or project management roles, especially in tech companies or start-ups
• Track record of quickly identifying root causes and proposing creative solutions with a multidisciplinary team
• Proven project management, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with adaptability between strategic planning and tactical execution

Required skills

• Data analysis in Excel, with readiness to learn SQL and Python
• Ability to turn complex data analysis into actionable business strategies presented in tools such as PowerPoint
