Associate/Senior Associate, Product Accounting & Financial Control

About the role

We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Product Accounting & Financial Control team in Singapore. The role involves handling accounting, trade validation, and reconciliation across a range of capital market products while supporting month‑end and regulatory reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily product accounting, trade validation, and reconciliations for Futures, Options, OTC Derivatives, Securities, and Fixed Income.
• Post accounting entries accurately and investigate reconciliation breaks, exceptions, and discrepancies.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close, preparing financial schedules and audit documentation.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to MAS, SGX, clearing houses, and other authorities.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Leverage SQL, Python, Snowflake and other data tools to automate reporting, reconciliations, and finance processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Risk, Technology, and Front Office teams to improve processes, controls, data quality, and system efficiency.
• Assist with management reporting, financial analysis, finance transformation initiatives, new product implementations, and process improvement projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting, product accounting, regulatory reporting or financial control within financial services.
• Prior experience in a bank, brokerage, futures commission merchant, clearing member, asset manager or similar institution is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory accounting, and financial close processes.
• Experience preparing regulatory reports for MAS and/or SGX is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives, OTC Derivatives, Securities, Treasury or Capital Markets products.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and able to read/write Chinese.
