AVL Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled AVL Technician to join our Singapore team. You will be responsible for installing, configuring and operating sound, lighting and video systems for a variety of events and productions, ensuring flawless technical delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and test audio‑visual equipment, including sound, lighting and video rigs, before each event.
• Diagnose and repair issues with AVL gear, cabling and signal flow, and perform routine maintenance.
• Program lighting consoles, audio mixers and video switchers as required.
• Configure digital audio networks such as Dante and AVB, and manage video distribution systems.
• Provide live technical support during rehearsals and events, collaborating with coordinators, performers and other technicians.
• Follow safety standards for rigging, electrical systems and equipment handling, maintaining organized workspaces.
• Document setups, configurations and maintenance activities, and report equipment needs to supervisors.

Required profile

• Class 3/3A driving licence (mandatory).
• Ability to work onsite in Singapore and handle physical setup tasks.
• Strong attention to safety and compliance.

Required skills

• Experience with sound, lighting and video systems.
• Proficiency in programming lighting consoles, audio mixers and video switchers.
• Knowledge of digital audio networking (Dante, AVB) and video distribution.
• Understanding of rigging and electrical safety procedures.
