AVP – Financial Planning & Analysis (Finance Department)

About the role

GIC is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will partner with senior leaders to shape governance, drive budgeting processes, and deliver financial insights that support strategic resource allocation across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior management to review departmental financial plans and provide clear insights on performance drivers.
• Develop and implement corporate planning and budgeting frameworks, guiding business units to achieve outcomes within those structures.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities, and design analytics tools to support decision‑making.
• Create and maintain interactive finance dashboards that deliver real‑time visibility of key metrics.
• Perform robust financial modelling to underpin business discussions and strategic decisions.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA or CA is advantageous.
• 6–9 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably within financial services.
• Hands‑on experience applying AI or advanced automation tools to finance processes.
