AVP, Product Designer, Consumer Banking Group

About the role

DBS is hiring an Associate Vice President, Product Designer within its Group Design team for the Consumer Banking Group. You will shape the digital banking experience for millions of customers across the region, turning complex financial journeys into joyful, trustworthy experiences. You will design key end-to-end customer journeys on the banking platform, partnering with business, technology and research, and join a focused Digital Channel team covering mobile and web platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Shape end-to-end design of key journeys with cross-functional teams, from discovery through to shipped product and post-launch iteration.
• Turn customer insights, competitive analysis and data into product bets, experience principles and design decisions.
• Design at multiple fidelities, from storyboards and flows to polished UI and motion.
• Work with business and technology on roadmaps, solution scoping and prototyping to de-risk complexity early.
• Contribute to and extend the design system, keeping experiences coherent across channels and meeting accessibility and regulatory requirements.
• Champion UX quality and help colleagues make better design-informed decisions.
• Collaborate with research to plan, run and synthesise studies, bringing the customer's voice into everyday decisions.

Required profile

• 5 to 8+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work that improved customer outcomes and key metrics.
• Systems thinking: mapping complex journeys, defining mental models and scalable design patterns.
• Strong product thinking and visual craft, with clear, well-crafted solutions connected to strategy.
• Ability to communicate and influence with senior partners and other designers, and to navigate ambiguity and constraints.
• Curiosity about industry and design trends.

Bonus points: experience in fintech, banking or a similar complex sector, and active contribution to the UX community.
