AVP Product Designer – Institutional Banking Group

About the role

The Institutional Banking Group (IBG) of DBS is looking for an Assistant Vice President Product Designer to own the end‑to‑end design of employee experience journeys. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, shape UX strategy, and drive post‑launch iteration for digital products serving retail and wealth customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, engineering and business partners to define, design, and ship end‑to‑end user journeys, from discovery through launch.
• Lead UX strategy and maturity initiatives, conducting discovery activities, defining high‑level user stories and identifying key features.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and design specifications to guide development sprints.
• Conduct and communicate research findings, product analytics and user testing to inform design decisions.
• Facilitate design sharing sessions and lead executive‑level design reviews, ensuring feedback focuses on problems rather than solutions.
• Propose and implement processes and tools that improve team efficiency and speed.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work that improved customer outcomes.
• Demonstrated design excellence across multiple successful projects.
• Ability to understand abstract, interconnected problems, think creatively, and translate vision into tangible outputs.
• Strong communication skills to build lasting stakeholder relationships and articulate design rationale.
• Comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover root problems.
