AVP/VP Project Manager – PMO & Finance (Technology Group)

About the role

The role sits within GIC’s Technology Group, acting as the primary liaison between the Developer Experience team and the PMO & Finance divisions. You will deepen your understanding of end‑to‑end project management processes and translate business needs into technology solutions that support project initiation, approval, funding, tracking, reporting and closure.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the PMO’s complete project lifecycle and identify opportunities for technology‑enabled improvements.
• Gather, document and translate business requirements into functional specifications for tooling and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, configure and implement solutions that align with PMO and finance workflows.
• Maintain and evolve Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) codes to ensure consistent project categorisation.
• Support reporting and analytics by defining data requirements and integration points.
• Facilitate communication between PMO stakeholders, finance partners and technical teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in project management, preferably within a PMO or finance environment.
• Strong analytical and business‑analysis capabilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with a detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work across cross‑functional engineering, finance and business teams.
