Backend Software Engineer II (Golang)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Backend Software Engineer with strong Golang expertise to join our Transaction Tribe. Based in Singapore, you will help shape the vendor journey across our global food delivery platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement features that will be used across the global platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional, international teams to manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Contribute to system architecture design and evolution to support current and future growth.
• Enforce coding standards, conduct thorough code reviews, and maintain a high‑quality codebase.
• Implement automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, functional) to ensure reliability.
• Apply cloud, CI/CD, and reliability best practices such as resiliency, autoscaling, monitoring, and alerting.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, continuously optimizing performance and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–6 years of backend development experience with mandatory Golang proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with design patterns, software architecture, algorithms, and automated testing.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and relational & distributed databases.
• Experience working in agile, international teams and excellent written and spoken English.
